We finally managed to update this website. YEA !!!
June 2008
Zachery David Schoof was born May 17, 2008. He weighed 5 pounds 13 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long. As you can see, he is so cute and all of the other children are loving him to death. At two weeks old he came down with RSV and had to go back to the hospital for six days. He is fine now and growing quickly.
Nov 2006
Micah Benjamin Schoof was born October 24, 2006. He weighed 5 pounds 14 ounces and was 19 inches long. He was born with the cord wrapped one time around his neck. A day and a half after his birth, he suddenly began turning blue. It turned out one of his lungs collapsed.
The doctor rushed in to give him oxygen and put a needle into the sack surrounding his lungs to allow the air there to escape. The next several days were up and down. He would do fine but then something would happen and start turning blue. We do praise the Lord for his mercy and protection and also for a great doctor who knew what to do.
He easily could have died 7 times if it were not for quick intervention. He is home now and doing great!
